Why this piece is awesome: The artist wanted to draw Ami in some nice casual wear, to make up for all the terrible outfits she ends up in during the '90s anime. And succeeds! The outfit looks so cozy (and she looks so cute in it). I want one.

Why this piece is awesome: I love this portrait of the Seventh Doctor. There is something very reassuring in the way he seems to walk his on road, unperturbed by any monster trying to hinder him. His calmly smiling face and the carefree swing of his scarf and umbrella further add to the sense of confidence and cheerfulness he seems to exude.

I'm also full of admiration for the skillful way the artist balances light and shadow and the way the picture goes from empty whiteness at the top to stark blackness at the bottom.
