Why this piece is awesome: Kakashi waking up surprised to be surrounded by dogs and deer and children in his bed is my favourite thing. *g* And the last - coloured - picture of the otherwise sketchy black-and-white comic is beautiful, too. The colours look really warm and home-y, which fits to the picture so well!

Why this piece is awesome: This is a wonderful portait of Gerard as an artist. I love the intense focus of his gaze, how completely he seems to concentrate on his work. I have a great fondness for watercolour as a media, particularly when it's used as skillfully as it is here. The delicate shading and the strong, sure brushwork are perfect for the subject.
