Why this piece is awesome: As the title says, Lexa isn't in her battle gear in this painting. Her lighter clothes are feminine, you see her curves. And yet, the pose and posture and the knife in her hand still all convey Lexa's confidence and danger. It's a really wonderful piece that gives life to another side of the character without removing all the things that define her.

Why this piece is awesome: This was inspired by a story (ghost of you by

akamine_chan) and the way it captures the central scene is one of the best I've seen in a very long time. And the warm colours and the close focus helps in conveying the same sense of intimacy as in the story. An absolutely lovely work!
