Why this piece is awesome: A promo poster inspired by Hitchcock movie posters, which is fitting for the show. It was originally done at the end of season two and when Samaritan hijacked the show's opening credits in season four, Beruna Girl did a complementary version of the original. I love the whole design - the colours, the city silhouette, the abstraction, and especially the way Reese and Finch are drawn.

Hi, y'all! I'll reccing Bandom fanart this month! Before I begin, a quick head's up that my recs will have a strong focus on Frank Iero. Not only is this his birthday month, but also there are a lot of really good stuff out there centered around him.

Why this piece is awesome: NGL, I had a difficult time when I had to choose one piece from this artist's gallery. The art is eye-popping on its own. In addition, if you're a fan of Frank's music, there's always some kind of Easter egg that adds a clever twist to already great fanart.

What made up my mind about reccing this specific piece was a combination of things: how it alludes to Frank and his 200000 bands; the starkness that reflects the kind of music DS puts out in the world; the small tech-y details (laptops, keyboards, the pixelation in the background) and kinda cold symmetry also completes the DS look.

It might be a black and white piece filled with lots of sharp lines with additional touches of otherworldliness and (for those who don't know/aren't into DS) a bit of confusion. And yet, for all its SRS BIZNESS, there is an ongoing connection between Frank and James (via the cable) that keeps them tethered to each other even as they float in space.
