looking for reccers for upcoming months

It's past time for our regular reccer recruiting post, and to look ahead to the next month. So far we have THREE volunteer reccers who have signed up for February with these fandoms:

* The 100 (kingstoken)
* Marvel Movieverse (glitteryv)
* The Witcher (mific)

So while we already have a few recs to look forward to in February, it would of course be awesome if we had some more recs. There is still plenty of opportunity for you to jump in and volunteer to rec next month (or to convince your friends to do some reccing). And many cheers for all of our members who volunteer to rec, especially if you rec regularly. Your valiant repeat efforts keep the comm alive.

Looking even further ahead so far NO reccer has volunteered for March, so that month definitely still needs some love (and recs! *g*) too. So please consider reccing in a fandom of your choice, whether small or huge, and comment on the sign-up post and volunteer for February, March or even further ahead if you are so well organized, that you know your fannish interests and time commitments in advance. It's only four recs as a minimum, and you can rec any genre or rating. Or promote us to your friends or in your favorite communities so others do the work.

Why this piece is awesome: I just adore this artist's style so much! It's hilarious, even without the added hilarity of what the characters are saying. The characters are expressive, in over the top poses and dramatic facial expression, as befitting of these people, tbh. :D I also love how sketchy the style is, it makes it look so dynamic! And of course, as is often the case, I am all hearteyes over the use of colour! It's bright and neon and so cheerful and happy-making. I am honestly still laughing about the first picture especially. xD

Why this piece is awesome: Retellings or reinterpretations of classic myths are very popular in the Reylo ship, Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone being the two major ones. This piece is another Orpheus/Eurydice, like my previous rec. Again placing Rey in the role of Orpheus rescuing Kylo from the underworld, this one has a deep rich red color palette, with Rey in her white garb the major point of light. The grasping hands around Kylo hint at the Sith/Dark powers grasping for him.
