Why this piece is awesome: This sneering Venger portrait floats above the implication of a battlefield melee, a hint of the scale of the suffering he inflicts, a much grimmer invocation of the cartoon's frequent trope of a brief vision of Venger's face towering against the sky after a defeat. This is the Venger from whom our heroes save the Realm (and we knew it all along, no matter what the Parents Television Council thought).
