Artist Website/Gallery: This art was made by a large group of fanartists working together, and if there is an official post somewhere that has good collective info for them all I haven't found it - I'm linking to the only Tumblr upload by one of the artists that I was able to easily find - but here's the list of names who were involved: kingtheghast, kyxuu, subtomumbo, belmarzi, loafboyrye, sideblague, whereismycaplock, and MineKAIft
Why this piece is awesome: DocM77 is one of the Hermits who engages most closely with his fans, and also the one who does the most incredibly ambitious projects of all kinds. At the end of last season he had a big blank wall that needed decorated and decided to ask his fans to contribute art that he could "paint" on the wall using Minecraft blocks as pixels. A large group of his most loyal fanartists came together and designed this massive, incredibly ambitious mural that covered everything he had accomplished in over a year, and it's gorgeous. (To see the finished Survival Minecraft version you can go to the Minecraft S9 map - but you might have to increase your render distance to see the whole thing at once! This is also one of several fanarts that were included in the S9 world that convinced Microsoft to rethink their content restrictions for their official Minecraft store, which is pretty amazing.)
