Why this piece is awesome: Why not kick off this series of recs with a great introduction to each of the movie's characters? pen_pistola had been making her way through the cast for months now, and the results are amazing. Inspired by Saul Bass' iconic poster style, she's managed to illustrate each of the character's role in the movie.
I love Arthur's piece, and how the hommage to the Vertigo poster is so very perfect for Inception. I love the reflection in the water in Cobb's piece. I love the perspective and the stylized raindrops in Yusuf's. Ariadne as a conductor/architect is just awesome. I love the innocence in Fisher's poster, carried through right down to the choice of font. I absolutely love the composition of Eames' poster and the epicness of Saito's. Mal's piece is appropriately disturbing and beautifully rendered.
Overall, the graphic design nerd in me is just in love with the whole series.

Why this piece is awesome: This is gorgeous. I love Luna's expression, so open and vulnerable, and Pansy's smirk and the way her hand holds Luna, both steadying and keeping her in place.
